Grand Master M.H. Abid, official representative of GAWSF in India and Dean of Combat Sports at the World Sports University (India), paid an official visit to the headquarters of the Global Association of World Sports Federations (GAWSF) and the World Sports University (WSU) in Macau.
During this important visit, Grand Master Abid held a high-level meeting with Dr. Che Hong Kuong, President of GAWSF and WSU (Macau), where they engaged in detailed discussions regarding the future academic and educational roadmap of GAWSF and WSU. One of the key highlights of the meeting was the proposal to establish a dedicated GAWSF and WSU College in India, aimed at offering international-standard academic programs in sports sciences, combat sports, and allied disciplines.
The discussions focused on strategic planning for the development of educational infrastructure, curriculum design, faculty collaboration, and student exchange programs. The proposed institution is expected to serve as a major hub for sports education, research, and global collaboration across Asia and beyond.
The meetings are scheduled to continue on the 27th and 28th of July, allowing for more in-depth discussions, planning, and collaborative decisions regarding academic initiatives and global events.
This visit marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to promote international academic exchange, institutional development, and sports diplomacy, through the visionary leadership of GAWSF and WSU.
