World Sports University (WSU) signed a cooperation agreement with the internationally renowned academic journal publisher Scilight Press, aiming to create a platform for impactful academic paper publications and drive developments in educational technology and innovation.

Yesterday, WSU President Che Kuong Hon, along with representatives from Scilight Press, officially signed the cooperation agreement. This collaboration aims to provide a higher-quality platform for academia and researchers to publish influential academic papers, fostering advancements in educational technology and innovation. Additionally, this partnership will offer professional support to WSU’s educational technology and innovation journal, JETI.

Established in 2020, JETI is a significant academic journal in higher education technology and digital learning. The journal focuses on disseminating important academic works from diverse cultural perspectives, promoting information exchange among researchers, professionals, and practitioners, and advancing the scientific application of technology in higher education.

President Che Kuong Hon stated that the signing of the cooperation agreement will provide WSU’s researchers with a broader platform for publication, further enhancing the university’s reputation in the global educational technology field. JETI’s editor-in-chief, Xu Xiao Shu, added that this collaboration will elevate the journal’s international influence and receive professional support in journal management and market promotion, jointly advancing research and practice in educational technology.

In addition to the partnership with Scilight Press, WSU facilitated the signing of a cooperation agreement between Scilight Press and City University of Macau. This collaboration will further strengthen the connections between WSU, City University, and Scilight Press, promoting research and innovation in educational technology in Macau.

Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, Scilight Press is a multidisciplinary international academic publisher focused on open-access peer-reviewed journals and books, providing a platform for global researchers to disseminate their works. Founder Yi Zheng Chun emphasised that the publisher is committed to promoting knowledge dissemination and academic discussions. The collaboration with WSU and City University will better support research in the field of educational technology.
