The World Sports University (WSU) is pleased to recognize the successful staging of the International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) Olympic Day Webinar 2026, entitled “The Current State of Sport for All around the World: Five Perspectives.” The event brought together leaders and practitioners from multiple countries to share experiences, challenges, and innovative approaches to promoting physical activity and community well-being.
Held on 23 June 2026, the webinar featured presentations from representatives of Ukraine, France, Georgia, Macau (China), and Türkiye, providing participants with valuable insights into how Sport for All initiatives are being developed and implemented across different social, cultural, and policy environments.
A Shared Commitment to Active and Healthy Communities
The webinar highlighted the growing recognition of Sport for All as a powerful vehicle for improving public health, fostering social inclusion, strengthening community resilience, and encouraging lifelong participation in physical activity.
Opening the event, Marco Tomasini, CEO and Secretary General of FISpT, emphasized the importance of integrating physical activity into everyday life and reinforcing the connection between Sport for All initiatives and the wider objectives of the Olympic Movement. The webinar formed part of the global celebrations of Olympic Day 2026, supporting international efforts to encourage healthier and more active lifestyles.
